Wellbeing Workshops

The creative process is a growth producing experience. All our sessions offer creative pathways to meet personal, social and emotional wellbeing needs. They are platforms for learning and discovery through shared attention, focus and meaning making. The different perspectives gained from the experience provides better clarity and understanding of oneself and one’s external reality.

2) So You Think You Can(T) Write

(Creative Writing)

Workshop Price: £25.00

Date & Time

Saturdays [September 5th, 19th] and  Sundays [September 13th, 27th]

Duration: 2 hours ~ 2.00pm - 4.00pm (UAE Time)

Once you register, you will be sent  a link to our Zoom session and added instructions for the session if any.

Description

Words are a versatile communication tool. Individuals will be supported to playfully engage with words and write a journal entry/ short poem/ paragraph/story, guided by prompts and ideas generated by the group. We will also explore different ways of presentation of work.

 

NEW!! A workbook will accompany each workshop for participants to process insights gained and continue their creative exploration

Duration: 2 hours ~ 2.00pm - 4.00pm (UAE Time)

Description

The workshops are designed to provide an opportunity to interact with others with a shared focus and encourages spontaneous creative expression. This is followed by a time of reflection with support.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

A variety of writing and craft material, conventional and unconventional

No previous experience required.

Support Groups/Charities

Feelings of loss, fear and anger are universal. Weekly online sessions are designed as required, at various levels of challenge. They can be a way to relax , help to alleviate the distress they are experiencing and support meaning making through creative exploration and expression with like-minded individuals.

 

Note: A translator may attend the session if individuals do not speak/understand English.

 

Maximum in a group: 12-15

Duration: minimum 2 hours

Price: Will be determined during discussion.

Single Personal Wellbeing Workshops can be designed exclusively for staff within an organization.
